Read all 3 books together. Though not really required. The books were are suspenseful, thrilling and most importantly funny. Very spyesque with secret passage ways and storage spots. It's also clear, the author has a thing for glasses :) All 3 are well written, interweave characters, and tell a great story. Very much some bad boy breaking rules play up in all the titles. This specific book, the two main characters have crossed 2 times before they even start their job. You don't know which is the villain till the very end in this one. This is a new author for me, so when I read "Mr. and Mr. Smith" as part of the series, I was in. What surprised me, in a good way, is the way a new character is created in each story to continue it. They don't feel like sequels, in other words.
Great stuff, now on to "Talented Mr. Rivers". ;-)
Absolutely loved this story, I could not put it down and didn't! This was wonderful, suspenseful, romantic, funny and will keep you guessing, who did it, right up until the end. Definitely a must read, written by a great Author. Many thanks, Honey Bee 🐝📚💙🎶
Great rhythm, the story flows perfectly and I loved it all. More precisely the banter. It was just the right mix of sweet, sexy, stubborn and sassy. I enjoyed every word exchange ^^
All of it was intense, hot AF, sweet and just this side of irritating. Great combination for me.
It was just FUN and my favorite of the series.

I love this kind of story! The mystery the intrigue and of course the love you refuse to admit to yourself or anyone else lurking in the shadows of your heart. We knew from the first chapter it was love at first sight for both of them. But, they took longer to figure it out. (Thank god and the author!) Great story and is going in my reread file... Read enjoy read again!
I really enjoyed this book. So much more than I expected. I read it all in one go late into the night. Then had to read it again. I cannot properly explain how much I loved seeing Seth embrace his feelings for Rick, be it while in danger, or while intimate or during witty banter moments. And Rick was amazing at all times and is the perfect and only person for Seth. Nathan as comic relief was genius! Zero complaints lol
The book was well written and I enjoy the M/M genre, but the storyline couldn’t hold my attention. I kept skimming and skipping ahead. In preparing for writing this review, I tried to pinpoint what my problem with the book was, and all I could come up with was that it seemed a bit contrived, ordinary, obvious, and the ending, where the main character—can’t recall his name—was on the plane and his friends were giving him a hard one before he finally got it, was too drawn out and out of character for that character. Another thing that bothered me was the way the few women characters were portrayed—sl#t, harda$$ boss, traitor. The writing was good...I prob just chose the wrong book.
This last book was probably the best of the three in the series, in the relationship department. The start of it is a scenario I enjoy, the dirty hookup from the night/weekend before is your co-worker or similar. Seth and Rick’s connection was hot and fast, and there were quite a few bedroom scenes. They were also written to feel more emotional than those in the previous stories. I liked the banter and sarcasm and really rooted for them as a couple.
The case that brought them together was another matter. The inside guy was fairly obvious to me, although there were attempts to throw some misdirection into the mix. It’s just that so much of what occurred made so little sense to me in the end. Including the big conclusion, because where was everyone while all this was going on? Especially Nathan. But, it rollicked along so well, with so much action and the guys escaping various dangerous situations, it was just fun. There was the requisite conflict and breakup for Rick and Seth. I’m looking forward to the next series, because I never get enough of action suspense that’s absorbing and entertaining.
