Cat lives with her cousin Kate and their grandmother in a rural town. Being young and single and never in the company of men, gossip surrounds them, though Cat pays it no mind. Since being used and betrayed by her fiancé, she has decided she can never again trust men. The women keep busy running a nursery in their sprawling house, but fate comes knocking one day…in the form of Caleb Reynolds. “I would like my son to attend this nursery,” announces the alluring man in front of her. He exudes the scent of danger, and Cat isn’t sure she can resist it.

I know some one earlier mentioned that the hero treated Cat bad, so i wonder if they had read the book rather than the manga because Caleb didn't treat her bad at all, nor was he arrogant or rude. He only made a comment about how he was a fan of an opra singer who had retired early. The only thing that was 'rude' was kissing her after spending time with her, but he respected when she fankly said she didn't want it to continue, so thwy settled it as a good night kiss. If you ask me he was treading water and when she said no, he polity backed off rather than the typical Hero who says " You know you wanted this!" and then keeps kissing. To be honest the story was based more on Kate and Cat being suspicious of anyone new to the town in fear the new people wish to expose their grandmother. It fallows these cousins rather than one Heroine, but. mostly focuses on Cat
I found it to be a sweet relaxing story. It didn't have any sex but instead a sweet story of 'what ifs' and ' maybe he likes me' but she puts it out of her mind.
The description mentioned her Ex but the Ex was mentioned for one pannel (or page, cann't remember since it was so short) and she doesn't trust possible boyfriends.
P.S. 'He' deserves a good punch 😲 for what he did and then a kiss to make it better

A Man to Marry Harlequin comics eBook Carole Mortimer Kaoru Shinozaki Reviews
this was the most confusing and annoying book! i hate that they think two people with a child involved would fall in love with each other in a little over a week without knowing a darn thing about each other. i also can't believe cat would go anywhere near caleb after the way he treated her. this might have been a good story line if the author hadn't rushed the story and made caleb quite a bit less cocky, arrogant, rude, and obnoxious.
